Ambassador David Ayoka Atim has thrown his weight behind the All Progressives Congress (APC) electronic membership registration exercise in Ogoja Local Government Area, with a cash donation of ₦400,000.
The donation was made during a meeting of APC stakeholders in Ogoja, convened to deliberate on strategies for the effective rollout and success of the party’s ongoing e-registration exercise within the local government.
The meeting was attended by key party leaders and stakeholders, including the Member representing Ogoja State Constituency, Hon. Thomas Aruku; Chairman of Ogoja Local Government Area, Hon. Chris Agbeh; Managing Director of Cross River State Waterboard Limited, Chief Godwin Nyiam; Director (North), Cross River Homeland Security, Mr. Raphael Odu; Head of Personal Staff to the Deputy Governor, Dr. Chris Ojikpong; Head of Protocol to the Deputy Governor, Mr. Modey Ugbiji; State Organising Secretary of the APC, Mr. Joseph Ishaje; Hon. Emmanuel Elom; Dr. Mike Prince Michael Nku; Hon. Torita Odey, and several other critical stakeholders.
Amb. Atim described the e-registration initiative as a critical step toward strengthening the APC at the grassroots, enhancing internal organization, and ensuring accurate digital documentation of party members ahead of future electoral engagements.
He emphasized the need for unity, cooperation, and collective responsibility among party members to guarantee the success of the exercise in Ogoja, noting that a strong and well-structured membership base remains the backbone of any formidable political party.
Stakeholders at the meeting commended Amb. Atim for his timely intervention and support, describing the gesture as a clear demonstration of commitment to the growth and consolidation of the APC in Ogoja Local Government Area.
The APC e-registration exercise continues across wards in Ogoja, with party leaders urging members and supporters to actively participate in order to strengthen the party’s presence and preparedness for future political contests.
