The Pioneer Director General of Greater Calabar Capital City Development Authority, Comr. Kinglsey Ikpeme was on Sunday, the 7th of April 2019 elected the Vice President of St. Patrick's College Ikot Ansa Calabar Alumni Association. In an open ballot election held at the College Assembly Hall, Comr. Ikpeme emerged the winner to defeat several other contestants. Cmr. Ikpeme is two times former President of St. Patrick's College Calabar Almumni Association (University of Calabar Chapter)

Known as a front line students and youths advocate, Comr. Ikpeme has a track record that speaks for itself. He is is a former Cross River State Representative at the Nigerian Youth Parliament (Abuja). He has previously served as the chairman Contact and Mobilization at the National Youth Council of Nigeria. He is also a former President of National Association of Cross River State Students (NACRISS) worldwide. Member Standing Committee Youth in Agriculture (Min of Youth CRS). He belongs to different social and professional bodies. He has also worked as a supervisor of Waste Management at the Cross River State Ministry of Environment. Based on his experience and qualities, His Excellency The Governor of Cross River State, Sen. Prof. Ben Ayade appointed him the pioneer Director General of Greater Calabar Capital City Development Authority. Comr. Ikpeme hails from Asang Eniong in Odukpani Local Government Area. He has working experience in the civil/public sector and private sector, enjoys friendship across the Nation, very sociable, family man, believer, detribalized gentleman. He has attended many seminars and training on EIA, Environment.
It would be recalled that St. Patrick's College Calabar has produced men and women that has positively impacted our State, Nation and the World. The likes of Brig Dan Patrick Archibong Former Military Governor of CRS,

In separate reactions, members of the Alumni Association expressed joy over the emergence of Comr. Ikpeme, describing him as the bridge between the younger and older Patricians. They also expressed confidence in Comr. Kingsley Ikpeme.
Responding to the reactions that trailed his election, Comr. Ikpeme promised to offer his sacrificial best for the growth of his Alma Mater, while pledging his readiness to work with the President and other elected exco members for the overall interest of the Association.
St. Patrick's College Calabar Alumni Association is a body for old students that passed through the college, it has branches across the world and Calabar as the mother Branch. Members converge every year at the College for it's celebration of her Patron Saint (ST. Patrick's) Day on 17th March, Popuarlary called Spaco Feastday
