The good people of Oboso Community in Mbube of Ogoja LGA today Sunday 7th April, 2019 Honoured Barr. Joe Oshie Abang, the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice of Cross river state with a traditional title " OKPEB ITAN 1 OF OBOSO" meaning THE GREAT HELPER OF THE MASSES.
In an atmosphere that was filled with fanfare, the people praised the Attorney General for his outstanding performance in community development. Speaking at the occasion with excitement and gratitude, one of the community leaders appreciated the Governor of Cross River State Sen. Ben Ayade for the opportunity given to their son to hold the office of the Attorney General of Cross River state which has in turn benefitted the good people of Cross River State, Ogoja LGA, Mbube and the people of Oboso positively.
In his response, Barr. Joe Abang thanked the Traditional rulers and the good people of Oboso Community for the uncommon honour made to him and dedicated the Award to his boss Sen. Prof. Ben Ayade for creating the platform and enablement for the masses to get the true benefit of democracy through him. He reiterated the commitment of the State Government under the leadership of Governor Ben Ayade to see to the principal needs of the masses. He also assured the people of his unwavering commitment to the development of the Oboso Community.
