Kaduna Born, Kefas Stephen Remanded in Prison Custody for Spreading "Malicious Falsehood" on Social Media Against Kaduna State Government and Kajuru LG Chair
Mr. Kefas Stephen is in prison custody for a post he made on social media which was found to be completely false. Kefas is charged for spreading malicious falsehood with intent to incite members of the public against the Kaduna State Government and Kajuru Local Government Council Chairman Mr. Cafra Caino.
In Cross River State, the case here is different. The social media space is choked with malicious falsehood against the person of the State Governor/present administration. Governor Ayade unarguably has a kind heart. Owing to the kindhearted nature of the Governor, many self acclaimed activist have used foul words on the person of the Governor and his family on several occasions. We have so many "Kefas" in Cross River State, clothing themselves like right activist, but we don't have a Governor that sees critics like prison guests, he instead opens his arms to his enemies. I remember the night before the last gubernatorial primaries of the PDP in 2018, he said something that shocked Northern Cross River State delegates in the hall "the best way to treat people who see you as their enemies, is to provide for them, show them love". Trust me, not in Nigerian Politics will you find such a leader.
There is none of these persons spreading falsehood against the Governor that have not benefited directly from the uncommon benevolence of the Governor
