Ayade's DG tasks Citizens on Collection of PVCS






In accordance with the directives of the Governor, H/E Sen(Prof) Ben Ayade, directing all Political appointees in the State to effectively mobilize Cross Riverians and Residence alike for the Registration and Collections of their Permanent Voters Card (PVC). The Pioneer Director General Of Greater Calabar Capital City Development Authority, Comrade, Kingsley lta lkpeme as part of his awareness and sensitisation campaigns for the Voters registration and Collections of PVCs has called on Cross Riverians and Residence alike of voting age to take advantage of the remaining days of the exercise and register and collect their PVC, and those who have registered outside the state to apply and transfer their names to the polling unit closest to them in the State, to enable them vote in the general elections. Comr. Kingsley lta lkpeme, who is on an awareness/Sensitisation campaigns in Odukpani LGA, Commended INEC for the

extension of date and equally appeal for more time, as most people are yet to register and collect their PVC, he informed citizens that their voters card is the criteria for voting, enthroning popular democracy in Nigeria, they should collect and keep their PVCs safely, not to sell it or exchange for anything, as the will be mortgaging their future and that of the Generation unborn. In the same vain, Comr. Kingsley lta lkpeme, urged all Cross Riverians to support the the Government of the Sen (Prof) Ben Ayade's led Administration and his efforts aim at industrializing the state. Comr. Kingsley lta lkpeme, said when the dredging of the sea port, super high way and industrialisation of the state is fully functional, it will in the long run decouple the state from Federal Allocation, Provide Job Opportunities for teeming number of Youths and reduce Youth restiveness and crime rates in the State to the barest minimum.
